Nickel-Silver 2 Cup Pan

This item was for sale on ebay.com in October 2006. It had no bids. The description as posted by the seller was:

1920's Foor & Robinson Nickel-Silver Small 2-Cup Hotel Sauce Pan by Albert Pick of Bridgeport, Inc. Heavy - weighs one pound.

Condition: as shown - the only dents are chef dings on the side of the handle, from tapping the handle to empty the pan.

The hotel chain for which this pan was made existed only in the 1920's, a result of the merger between the William Foor Hotel Company and Robinson Hotels. After Foor's death in 1930, it became Robinson Hotels, still existing today.

Signed by electric engraver on the bottom "L-922". The stamped message reads: "PROPERTY OF THE FOOR & ROBINSON HOTELS 04574 ALBERT PICK & COMPANY OF BRIDGEPORT, INC. NICKEL SILVER SILVER SOLDERED 16 OZ."
