husband of the Mary described in his mother's 1599 will as her daughter-in-law;

John, Charles and Robert, and daughters Edith and Alice. Even though he came
from a family of sheep farmers, he appears to have put his children to trades.
His will speaks of them completing their apprenticeships. Marden is a small

Fairfield Trace (gen society newsletter) Vol XIV, #3, Aug/92, p 42... "Michael
HAGENBUCH, a resident of Grossgartch, was the father of our immigrant ancestor
Andreas HAGENBUCH. Andreas was born April 1711 in the Kingdom of Wurtemburg.
He married in the Lutheran Church of Schluchtern on 26 Apr 1737 to Maria
Magdalena SCHMUTZ, a daughter of Jacob SCHMUTZ. (After Maria's death Andreas
took as a second wife Maria Margaretha, whom he married about 1749, in PA).
"Arriving aboard the Ship, "SHARMING NANCY" with Charles STEDMAN as it's
Master, in the Port of Philadelphia on 08 Oct 1737, Andreas signed the Oath of
Allegiance to King George II of England, (this oath he would later break).
Andreas purchased land from "the Penns" in early 1738 and purchased his second
farm of 150 acres in 1741 both these parcels were in Albany Twp., Berks Co, PA.
This second property boasted one of two recorded fortified homesteads during
the period of the French and Indian War (1754 to 1763). Andreas is listed with
the Daughters of the American Revolution as providing "Patriotic Service"
during the Rev. War.
"Andreas died in 1785, his first wife died about 1748, Maria Margaretha
outlived him, her death was around 179-1800. The will of Andreas Hagenbuch was
probated on 25 Sep 1785.
"A daughter of Andreas and Maria Magdalena HAGENBUCH was Anna Maria. Mention
is made of her (as well as that of his other children) in regards to Andreas'
last will and testament, a debt of 10 pounds 5 shillings was cancelled. Anna
Maria was to receive 50 pounds in Nov 1792, with her son John SCHISLER
receiving 39 pounds 3 shillings in Nov 1786. Anna Maria had married Conrad
SCHISLER (he was b about 1742-43) and was the eldest son of George and Anna
Margaret SCHISLER who immigrated from Germany to America in 1732. Conrad and
Maria were married in Albany Township, Berks Co PA in 1762/3, Conrad died in
1776. The only known son is John SCHISLER/SCHISLER bca 1764, he married Anna
Mary KNEPPER. John Sr. died bef 1824 in Fairfield County, Ohio, leaving Anna
Mary wit a son, John SHISLER, Jr."

Another obituary says he was born Feb. 7, 1910 in Grand Rapids, to Floyd H. and Amanda (Foor) Keeler. He married Bertha Mullett on Oct. 22, 1946, and she survivies. Reitred farmer and retired state highway department employee.

Jack Sprow
Jack "Lefty" Lee Sprow, 77, Defiance, went to be with his Lord in Heaven on Thursday, April 2, 2009, at 6:45 p.m. His last few days he spent at St. Joe Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He battled emphysema for many years.
He was born July 8, 1931, in Sherwood, Ohio, the son of Elmer and Dorothy (Wonderly) Sprow. On February 25, 1951, he married the love of his life, Justine L. Schackow Sprow, who survives. He was a driver/salesman for Brown's Bakery "Bunny Bread" for 38 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Ohio National Guard and Defiance Christian Church, where he was a deacon and Sunday school teacher. He was a 1950 graduate of Sherwood-Delaware High School and loved baseball. He played in many baseball leagues and coached area teams. He was invited to try out with the Detroit Tigers in 1951.
For many, he was Boy Scout Master Troop 188. He received the Wood Badge and Silver Beaver awards. He was a fisherman and camper and spent many summers at Burt Lake, Michigan. He was a mushroom hunter and collected bottles and antiques.
His family was everything to him.
Also surviving are three sons, Dan (Charlene) Sprow of Defiance, Jeff (Anna) Sprow of Stryker, Ohio, and Steve (Mindy) Sprow, Wauseon, Ohio; three daughters, Cathy (Lenny) Richard of Lima, Ohio, Carol Jones of Bedford, Indiana, and Mary (Ralph) Hutchinson, Sonoma, Calif.; a brother, George "Sonny" (Peg) Sprow, Angola, Indiana; and 13 grandchildren, four stepgrandchilden, nine great-grandchildren and six great-stepgrandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Lester "Bus" and Carol "Frosty" Sprow; and a granddaughter, Kimberly Sprow.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 6, 2009, in Defiance Christian Church, Defiance, with Rev. Bryan Maxey officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Defiance. Visitation is from 3-8 p.m. today at Mast-Mock-Hoffman-Hanenkrath-Clevenger-Schaffer Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
