In the spring of 2005, two more items came up for sale on ebay.com. The pan, shown in photo, was described as: "This is a vintage Hotel silver butler or some type of pan that was used in a fine hotel. The back mark reads: Wm Foor Hotel Co. of Penn. Albert Pick & Company of Bridgeport, Inc. Nickel Silver, Silver soldered. Also a number 03626. This has a wood handle also an indentation on the side so appears you could use this to pour something. In good condition, silver on piece shows very little wear.". It had three bids, selling for $21.09.

The two photos show the pan, and the impression on the back of the pan.

June 2006 - It appears that the same pan, or at the very least identical, again went up for sale on ebay. It was described as 8 3/4" by 4 1/2' with a wood handle - a miniature sauce or Flambe' pan made for the William Foor Hotels of Pennsylvania. Bidding started at $10, and after 7 bids sold on June 6th for $39.00.

A like item went up for sale on ebay in February 2006. The starting bid was $9.99 and after 7 bids sold for $23.19. The seller graciously allowed me to use the photo. Here is the seller's discription of the item: "Here is a very nice and early hotel butter clarifying dish. This dish would have been used to melt the butter and serve it to guests for their meals. . It measures 8 3/4" long. The pan part is 4 1/2" diameter with a grooved pouring side to it. The wood handle is "original" to this piece. There is an embossed logo on the handle too. I would assume it is the logo of the WM. Foor Hotel Co. as the back of this dish is so marked. The crest is of a very ornate shield and floral arrangement. The condition is "great!" only a minor spot in the pan where the silver has worn. No other dents or defects. The back has a very nice and legible mark of, WM Foor Hotel Co. of Pennsylvania, 03626, Albert Pick Company of Bridgeport, Inc. nickel silver silver soldered. An unusual early piece of hotel memorabilia."
oval dish The oval dish was described as "...a vintage Hotel silver oval dish that was used in a fine hotel. The back mark reads: Wm Foor Hotel Co. of Penn. Albert Pick & Company of Bridgeport, Inc. Nickel Silver, Silver soldered. Also a number 0175 and 5 Inches. There is a shield type emblem on both ends of the dish. In good condition, silver on piece shows some slight wear on bottom of inside in one spot.". It sold for $17.29 after three bids. The photos of the two articles were used with permission by the seller, Candice Milne, who said the person she was selling them for bought them at an estate sale in Pennsylvania several years ago.

The two photos of this item are the oval dish itself, and the impression on the underside of the dish.
