CENSUS: 1910 Fostoria/Seneca Co. OH (ED 163, S 4b, vis 97/102) listed w/husband and dau Mahre. States her father was born in Canada, her mother in OH. She is stated as being born in OH. State being married for 2 yrs having born one child and having one child living. (Apparently she did not include Fred). Fred is not living w/them at this time. Do not have any definite dates on Mary because she is not one of my direct ancestors, BUT I scanned the 1880 census and found the following:
The Mary J. listed above would be born ca 1865, so am guessing that this is her family. Have inserted data above into computer but have no documentation.
DEATH/BIRTH: both from gravestone - gives specific dates "wife of Daniel"
Saw tombstone which was medium sized and tall [shape of Washington's Monument]. Did not take photo as stone was virtually unreadable. At bottom you could see the word HALLARD. Could not make out name or dates very well. Apparently it was readable at one time because the Wood Co Gen. Society published cemetery inscriptions for Pemberville and that's how I know what it use to say.
