Death: cause of death suicide. Died at 16y 3m 13d Drowned in Maumee River
near her house. Father hired a housekeeper to take care of Clara after her mother died. Father was away on business alot. Daughter was being molested by housekeeper; though the local news stories at this time didn't blatantly say so, it's what most believe to have happened.. Housekeeper eventually committed suicide also. Father was heartbroken.
