DOM/POM: Names shown as Samuel Noffsinger and Mary B. Smalley. FHL Film 0549804, Miami Co., Ohio probate marriages 1807-1968.
In Glea Richer's book it shows on page 33 that he was born (no date) in Randolph Co., IN., and married Mary Breckner in Paulding Co., OH 1833. The children listed -- with no dates -- are Leonard, Olive Clough, Angelina Clark, Morris, Elmer, Retta, Cordelia and Samue. "This family has become widely scattered and no accurate data has been available."

DOM/POM: Marriage to Mary B. SMALLEY: Miami County, Ohio Marriages, 1851-65
PLACE OF BIRTH: "History of the Nafzger Family in America" by Glea Richer, p 33 On page 27 when it lists the bio of his father John b 1777 it states "all
children born in Montgomery and Miami Co., Ohio." Yet, when it states Samuel's separate bio it says he was born in Randolph Co IN. Richer also states Samuel and Mary were married in Paulding Co OH, yet their marriage record can be found in Montgomery Co OH. Marriage names for Olive and Angelina found in this book. Also note; page 33 says Samuel Noffsinger, no birthdate, but born in Randolph Co., IN, married Mary Breckner in Paulding Co., OH in 1833. Census records show Samuel was born abt 1823-1826, so the marriage date of 1833 is off, or this is the wrong Samuel. Samuel's father is shown as John Noffsinger, Jr. b 1777 and he DIED in 1821 in Miami Co., OH... a minimum of two years before the birth of this Samuel. Text states that John died when 10 of his children were under the age of 15, and that the eldest child, Eli, took over as head of the family. About 1835 they moved from Ohio to Randolph Co., IN.
Richer text shows he's "from Randolph Co IN". Family group sheet of Evelyn
Mills, Tucson, AR states he was b in Montgomery Co OH.
