States his date of death as 14 Mar 1957, attending physician Dr. Rothe; died
of cerebral hemorrhage as primary cause, secondary was areterio sclerosis. Was a widowed white male born 04 Apr 1882 in Paulding Co OH to Daniel NOFFSINGER and Mary SWICK. Place of burial was Lyons Cemetery (Fulton Co OH), funeral services conducted by Croll Funeral Home Grand Rapids, OH
OBITUARY: Published "3-15-57" Weston, O., March 15--Joseph C. Noffsinger, 75, died today in his home after an illness of about a year. Born in Paulding County, he lived in Grand Rapids for many years where he operated a bakery.
Mr. Noffsinger had lived here 20 years, having been employed as a clerk in a
general store. He was retired. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marion Fink,
Grand Rapids; sons Hary, Defiance, and Clare, Grand Rapids; four sisters; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The body is in the Croll Mortuary, Grand Rapids." (Published probably in a local newspaper, source unknown. Clipping given to me)
