[T1152] MARRIAGE: George Johns 28 Aug 1879 Henry Co OH V 4 p 90

Guessing she may have died in childbirth since she died just a little over a
year after being married.

Tombstone inscription is unusual.

EMMA G. FOOR
Wife of
Geo. Johns
Born Nov 21, 1861
Died Oct 21, 1880

Gertie Johns Dau
Born & Died

Dau of
Ervin & Susan Foor

Everything on the tombstone makes perfect sense except for "Gertie Johns Dau
Born & Died". Who's Gertie? UNLESS . . . if you put a comma after "Gertie
Johns, Dau Born and Died", then it could be that Gertie was a dau of Emma who
died in childbirth with Emma, or shortly after. This is the only conclusion I could reach without further documentation into probate records.
