LAND OWNERSHIP: Rented his "place" in Wood Co., assume he lived on land owned by brother Joseph for awhile when he came back to Latty. 1922 atlas of Latty Twp shows he and Joseph jointly own 20a in section 9.

Auherzen is today village Uherce, which is near town Plzen (Pilsen) - you could find its map in attachment.
Name Haala is more probably Hala (with "long" first "a" in the name, in Czech it's Hála (I hope it will be shown correctly).
The registries for this parish are held in Pilsen state archives, where are available for all people who want to do the research.
