[3635] OBIT: 1949 - Infant Killed by Kidney Pills in Broad Top. A 17-months-old Six Mile Run R. D. child was pronounced dead Monday night at 9 o'clock at J. C. Blair Hospital, Huntingdon, from acute poisoning resulting from an overdose of 'kidney' pills. The child, Donald Clair Foor, son of Edward W. and Edna (Williams) Foor, was the youngest of eight Foor children, all at home. The pills were prescribed by a physician for an older member of the family. The youngster found them and ate several before becoming violently ill and rushed to the hospital. Huntingdon's COroner, E. Blair Shore and DIstrict Attorney, R. Merle Heffner made the investigation. The child was born May 9, 1948, and is survived by the parents and the following brothers and sisters: Charles, Sylvia, Mary Catherine< James, Sandra, Nancy Carol and Patricia.
