An "Isaac Foor" with an Everett address is listed with others under the title "Wounded Severely" in a newspaper article titled "Casuality Lists Total 1,750" [Indiana Evening Gazette, Indiana, PA, Dec. 6, 1918, p 1].
"Auto Accident East End - Isaac Foor, of Everett, son of Robert Foor, met with a fatal accident last Saturday night when he attempted in an intoxicated condition to run around a big touring car when his car collided with a telephone pole lying beside the road. The car turned over and threw young Foor against the end of the pole the contact killing him instantly. His companion Mr. Simon Grimes, son of Harry Grimes, escaped pratcially unhurt but the car was badly damaged. At first it was thought that the touring car had run into the Ford and the big car was intercepted at Ligonier and brought back but the tourists swore they knew nothing was wrong and did not know there had been an accident until they were intercepted. Their car was perfect as well which verified their sworn statements and they were allowed to go their way. These two boys were single and out on a good time likely for it is said they ran around everyone from Everett to Bedford at which they had to set some pace, but the accident closed the lesson to young Foor, but young Grimes likely will learn that whisky and automobiling are not safe companions. Young Foor was brought to Pate's Undertaking STore where he was dressed for burial which took place Tuesday. [Bedford Gazette, Bedford, PA, Friday, June 27, 1919, p 1].
