Mrs. Jennie Walter, 81, made her home with her brothers, Lawrence and Francis Schott of 564 Kaler Ave., in Bucyrus, died Friday at 11:30 a.m. in the Bucyrus Community Hospital. Born March 26, 1882 in Bucyrus, she was the daughter of John and Mary Haala Schott. On April 29, 1916, she married Roy E. Walter and he died Aug. 10, 1955. A lifetime resident of the Bucyrus community, she was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Margaret McCadden of Denver. Two brothers and four sisters preceded her in death. Funeral services will be conducted MOnday at 9 a.m. in the Holy Trinity Cath. Ch.... [Marion Star, Marion, Ohio, June 8, 1863]
Miss Anna N. Schott, 72, of Bucyrus died at 5:35 Friday night in her home. Hse had been ill for a year and one-half and bedfast for one month. Born Nov. 14, 1887, at Bucyrus, she was the daughter of John and Mary Haala Schott. A stenographer, she began work at the Toledo and Ohio Central Railroad...surviving are two brothers, Lawrence and Francis at home, and four sisters, Mrs. H. A. Koeckley of Bellevue, Mrs. Jennie Walters and Miss Antoinette Schott of Bucyrus and Mrs. Miles McCaddon of Denver, Colo. [Marion Star, Marion, Ohio, Feb. 6, 1960]
Francis A. Schott, 85, former minor leagues baseball pitcher and Bucyrus native, died here at 9 p.m. Wednesday of a cerebral hemorrhage in Community Hospital where he was admitted May 12. Born Sept. 10, 1883, he was one of 10 children of John and Mary Haala Schott. Surviving is a brother, Lawrence of Bucyrus. Two brothers and six sisters are deceased.
