_Edwin Lafe DURFEY _+ | |--Joseph Verna DURFEY | |_Mary Alice CARR ___+
[T863]
BIRTH: census
Deb Perry states he died in Washington, was a lumberjack and tree fell on him. NOTE: There is a Joseph V. Durfey, son of E.L. & M.A. d 18 Dec 1907 @ 20y 19d buried in Paulding County. These dates figurre out to being b 29 Nov 1887. This is extremely close to the birthdate Deb submitted. Could it be Joseph was transported back here to be buried? Or did they erect a tombstone in his remembrance? Or, are the family hearsay information in error? (Stories tend to get changed and enhanced over the years).
