STORTS Mary E. Storts, age 87, of Canal Winchester, died Tuesday, May 7, 2002
at Winchester Place Nursing Home. Born August 29, 1914 in Carroll to the late
Jess Benjamin and Verta Mae (Jackson) Alspach. She was a 1932 graduate of
Carroll High School and a member of Hope United Methodist Church. Preceded in
death by husband Charley W. Storts in 1986, grandson Tommy Burnheimer in
1993, brothers John and Jesse Alspach and sisters Dorothy Koontz, Mamie
Arledge and Bernice Roshon. Loved so much and survived by son, Robert (Betty)
Storts, Eustis, Fla.; grandson, Michael (Ginger) Storts, Fla.;

[30885] Obituary for Mark C. McCandlish Sr.Mark Curtiss McCandlish Sr., age 56, of Groveport died unexpectedly on Tuesday August 3, 2010 at Diley Ridge Medical Center.
Born June 9, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Merle and Virginia (Matthews) McCandlish. Also preceded in death by brothers Norman McCandlish and Daniel McCandlish; and sister Becky White.
He was Field Supervisor for Columbus Drywall Co., was an avid Harley Davidson Rider, and he was loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who loved and cared for him.
Survived by loving daughters Heather L. (Brian) Whited, Citrus Springs, FL and Kimberly D. (Troy) Brenton, Ashville; sons Mark C. (Sarah) McCandlish, Kirkersville and Troy A. (Danielle) McCandish, FL; 7 grandchildren; sister Linda (Larry) Peterman, Columbus; brother Timothy (Karen) McCandlish, Columbus; friend and companion Annie Phelps; adored pets "Maggie May" and "Amos;" many nieces, nephews, other family members, members of his "Harley Family" and dear friends.
Friends may visit Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110 where funeral service and celebration of life will follow at 1:30 p.m.
Interment Lithopolis Cemetery.

Dr. Glen G. MUSSELMAN, 79, Terre Haute, died Tuesday at 2:20 p.m. in Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

He was born Sept. 21, 1905 in Macy to Franklin D. and Maude E. ZARTMAN MUSSELMAN. He was married to Theresa PETROSINELLI, who survives. He was a retired medical doctor. A graduate of Macy High School, Indiana University and Indiana University of Medicine, he interned at St. Vincents Hospital, Indianapolis. He moved to Terre Haute, where he practiced general medicine several years. He was president of the medical staff at St. Anthony Hospital in 1941 and was chief anesthesiologist for 25 years. He was a member of the Vigo County Medical Society, the Indiana State Medical Association and the Courtesy Staff at Union Hospital, and was president o the Indsana Society of Anesthesiologists in 1960. He also practiced at St. Mary of the Woods College Infirmary and Vermillion County Hospital.

In 1972, he moved to Wakefield, R.I., where he practiced at South County Hospital while semi-retired. In Wakefield, he was a member of Washington County and Rhode Island societies. He returned to Terre Haute, where he was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute and Elks Lodge.

Surviving with the wife are four daughters, Noelle DAULTON and Nelrose BRYANT, both of Rochester; Nikki ONSTOTT, Parsippany, N.J., and Nancy SMITH, Colorado Springes, Colo.; a son, Nils T. [MUSSELMAN], South Easton, Mass.; three sisters, Mrs. Sam SMITH, Indianapolis; Mrs. Kenneth SAVAGE, Macy, and Mrs. Ron POWELL, Rochester; a brother, Donald [MUSSELMAN], Warsaw; fourteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday in the Callahan Funeral Home East Chapel, Terre Haute, with the Rev. Joseph RICKARDS officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Terre Haute. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

Gladys Camilla Selzer, age 89, of Canal Winchester, OH, died on Monday, August 18, 2014. She was born to the late Austin and Mary Zwayer on September 27, 1924. Gladys graduated from Canal Winchester High School in 1942. She was a member of Lithopolis United Methodist Church where she participated in the Dorcas Circle and Bell Choir. Gladys and John both loved to dance. They met at Jimmy Rawlins Studio during WWII. Orbiting Squares dance club had a special place in their hearts. They met many friends and made special memories in their 15 years with the club. Gladys clogged with the award-winning Clog 4 U Cloggers in Austria, Branson, the Kennedy Center, Disney World and many other venues. Gladys and John loved to travel. They made many good friends while traveling. Gladys loved flowers and watching goldfinches and humming birds at the feeder. She made wonderful pickles and pies. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband John H. Selzer, sister Frances Raney, brother Paul Zwayer and two daughters-in-law Patty and Ronda Selzer. Survivors include her five children, Sharon (Frank) Ventresca, Rick (Marsha) Selzer, Ron (Earlene) Selzer, Steve Selzer and Greg Selzer; numerous beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and one brother, Carl Zwayer. Friends and family may visit the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, OH 43110 on Friday, August 22, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Ken Marckel will be held at Lithopolis United Methodist Church, 80 Market St., Lithopolis, OH 43136 on Saturday, August 23, at 11 a.m. with an hour of visitation prior.
