In the obituary of John L. Necci who died June 14, 2005 "of Cheltenham", it mentions his late wife, Marie Roselli, and "loving father of Christine and Wm. H. Marshall and Francine and Michael Foore". I believe that "Francine Foor" is his daughter, and Michael Foore is actually his son-in-law rather than son. Unknown as to what true relationship that Christine and William Marshall are.
One of the women mentioned was probably married before, as there are grandchildren and great grandchildren mention whose surnames don't match with those of his 'children'. "Grandfather of William John and Rhonda Marshall and Christine Mary and Rocco Covella. Great grandfather of Sabrina and Nicholas Marshall and Giovanna and Luciano Covella. 1906 - Chris Doss of Philo and E. C. Pasal of Urbana Go South. Philo Budget. Chris Doss and his son-in-law, E. C. Pasal of Urbana, departed Tuesday morning for Palacious City, Texas, where Mr. Doss will spend several weeks in looking over the country, while Mr. Pasal intends to do some contracting and building in the new Texas city. Chris made our office a short visit before leaving and ordered his paper sent to hime at the above named place. He also tells us that if the climate down in Texas proves to be beneficial to his health, which now is somewhat failing, he will move his family there in the near future. Although we will hate to lose Mr. Doss' cheerful face from our midst, yet if his health can be improved by moving to Texas, we will help pack his trunk, for we would love to see him live long enough to renew that lease on his oyster field--99 years. This past Friday, the winners of the contest were announced. Each winner was also presented with a savings bond, courtesy of Ridings-Xamis in Shelbyville.
First place winner is Alicia Foor. Alicia is eight years old and a third grader at Tower Hill Elementary.
Her winning entry was a collage style picture of a tornado.
The picture is a reminder of a personal experience. Nearly four years ago, a tornado destroyed the Foor's home.
"My mom and I were the only ones home. My sister was at a sleep-over and my dad was at a board meeting," Foor said.
Foor and her family were well informed about what to do during the emergency.
"We had to stay in the bathroom because it was the only room without windows," she said.
Foor said that the two had to keeping checking different televisions for information. Lightning from the storm destroyed the reception.
Joni Foor, Alicia's mom, was on hand when the award was presented.
"I'm so proud of her. She has dealt with this so well. I'm glad she isn't afraid to talk about it," she said.
Her father, Clint and sister, Olivia were also there for the award presentation. [Shelbyville Daily Union, Shelbyville, IL; found in archives and date of original publication not shown.]

[T69996] MYERS A memorial service for Mark David Myers, 52, of Newark will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at 11 a.m. at the Second Presbyterian Church, 42 E. Church St., Newark, with Pastor Michael Smith officiating. Interment will be held at Betzer's Cemetery, Carroll, Ohio. Mark D. Myers left to meet our Lord in paradise on June 7, 2004. He was born in Lancaster, Ohio on September 29, 1951 to the late Harry M. Myers and Peggy (Jackson) Morrow of Newark. Mark is survived by his wife, Barbara (Bussa) Myers; and his son, Jonathon Myers of Newark; as well as his daughter, Teena Myers and grandson, Kaleb Myers of Thornton, Colorado. Mark is also survived by his mother, Peggy (Ken) Morrow of Newark; sister, Jennifer (Rex) Hudler, of Tustin, California; six nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Cade, William and David Hudler of Tustin, California and Jenny and Emily Bussa of Worthington, Ohio. Mark also leaves Jan Jones, a loving family friend, Don, Geneva, Bob and Barbara Bussa (in-laws), many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends throughout the United States and Europe. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Harry M. Myers and a brother, Jon Scott Myers. Mark graduated from Bloom-Carroll High School in 1969 and earned Political Science and Psychology Degrees from Fairmont State College in 1973. For a short time, Mark worked as a 5th generation carpenter with his father in his cabinet-making business. He then began his career with Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation as Transportation Manager and then worked as European, African, and Middle Eastern Sales Manager for many years. In 1986, he returned to the U.S. as National Sales Manager for VMC, a French glassware manufacturer. Mark spent the last three years of his career with Bormioli Rocco Glassware Company in New York City, where he was Vice President of Sales. By 1998, Mark had become a successful, multilingual international businessman. However, just four month before the birth of his son Jonathon, Mark suffered a stroke. In spite of the paralysis, aphasia (inability to speak), and years of therapy, Mark maintained a positive attitude and a sense of humor. Faced with cancer in January of 2004, he continued to fight the good fight and kept family and friends motivated and strong through his sense of peace and gentle smile. Mark will be remembered as a loving soul who joyfully served others. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio and the American Stroke Association. Arrangements are entrusted to CRISS-SCHOEDINGER FUNERAL HOME, Newark. [Columbus Dispatch, Columbus, OH, News 12C, June 20, 2004]
