PLUMMER, Abraham. Males: 2 under 10, one 10-16, and one over 45. Females, two 16-26, and one over 45.
CENSUS:
Partion records of 1826 list his widow as Susannah, children as George; Nathan; Allis, wife of William Ward; Lucy, wife of Thomas Fishpaw; Elizabeth, wife of Daniel McPherson; and minors Abraham, Henry and Isaac Plummer, "Partition Record Abstracts, V1, 1812-1851 Fairfield County, Ohio", Fairfield County Chapter OGS, 1987, p 7.
Partition records of 1847 lists his widow as Susannah, and the heirs as George, Nathan, Abraham Plummer, Louisa, wife of Thomas Fishpaw; Alice, wife of William Ward; Isaac Plummer; Elizabeth McPherson, a widow; Susannah, the child of Henry Plummer, deceased. Henry's widow was Phoebe who married Samuel Crawford of Hancock county, "Partition Record Abstracts, V1, 1812-1851 Fairfield County, Ohio", Fairfield County Chapter OGS, 1987, p 43.
Case #394 is the estate of Abraham Plummer, filed in 1824. Says he owned land in section 12, township 14, range 20, and in section 31, township 15, range 20. Administrators were Susannah Plummer and William H. Tong. John A. Collins became guardian of minor heirs -- Abraham, Henry and Isaac Plummer, "Fairfield County Wills and Estate Abstracts, Cases 1-500", Fairfield County Gen. Society, April 1996, 42.
THE FOLLOWING IS FROM JOHN C. HAMLER, Columbus, Ohio, via email in October 2009:
"Abraham Plummer was born about 1764 in Frederick, Frederick, Maryland, and died about 1824 in Bloom, Fairfield, Ohio. His father was George H Plummer who was born about 1738, Queen Anne Parish, Prince George's, Maryland, and died about 1777 in Frederick, Frederick, Maryland. His mother was Hannah Webb, who was born about 1742. Unfortunately, that is all I have on her.
Abraham married Mary Swomley on 26 Feb 1784 in Frederick, Frederick. Maryland, per genealogytrails.com/mary/frederick/marr17841785.html. She died about 1807 in Fairfield, Ohio. Her father was Johannes Swomley who was born about 1725 in Palatinate, Germany, and died about 1810 in New Market, Frederick, Maryland. Her mother was Anna Margaretha Becker, who was born about 1730, in Pennsylvania, and died 29 Nov 1800 in New Market, Frederick, Maryland.
From the union of Abraham Plummer and Mary Swomley, were born Nathan P. abt 1797, George abt 1798, Alice abt 1800, Louisa Lucy abt 1801, Elizabeth abt 1806, and Abraham abt 1807. (The birth dates are only estimates). Mary Swomley died about 1807 in Fairfield, Ohio. So she may have died while giving birth to Abraham.
Abraham then married Susan Bright about 1810 in Fairfield, Ohio. She was born about 1783 in Mispillion Hundred, Kent, Delaware, and died about 1847 in Ohio. Her father was Abraham Bright, who was born about 1740 in Mispillion Hundred, Kent, Delaware, and died Nov 1805, in Bloom, Fairfield, Ohio. Her mother was Sarah Major, who was born about 1744 in Mispillion Hundred, Kent, Delaware, and died about 1790 in Bloom, Fairfield, Ohio.
From the union of Abraham Plummer and Sarah Bright, were born Isaac abt 1815, Henry abt 1818 and Mary abt 1820.
Abraham Plummer died about 1824 in Bloom, Fairfield, Ohio."

"He was reared on his father's farm. In the fall of 1866 he went into the little town of St. Pauls and entered the mercantile business with G. A. Knepper. Before the war this settlement was known as Teegarden but was changed to St. pauls and a post office was opened in their store. The local business in Madison township was very limited at that time consisting of Teegardin's store, a wagon and blacksmith shop and three boot & shoe shops. They lived here until 1883 when they moved to Westerville, Ohio, and then to leesburg, Florida, in hopes that his health might improve. He was not successful in his business ventures and even when they went to Birmingham, Alabama, it brought no improvement in his health. In February 1888 he returned to St. Pauls where he died."
