J. C. FOOR, who lived near Macy the greater part of his life, died early Thursday morning at his home in LaPorte of Paralysis. He is survived by the widow, two daughters, Mabel [FOOR] and Alta [FOOR], a sister, Mrs. Priscilla MUSSELMAN of Macy, and two brothers, Lewis [FOOR] of Mentone and Frank [FOOR] of Macy. The deceased was a member of Macy Lincoln lodge, F. & A. M.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from the Macy Christian church. Burial in Plainview cemetery.

Mr. Foor is a graduate of the [same school], class of 1951, and enlisted in the Air Force in 1952. He is now stationed at the Suffolk County Air Force Base at Westhampton Beach, Long Island. He took his basic-training at Sampson, NY and was then transferred to the Suffolk County Air Base, leaving there for duty in Labrador in April 1955. A2/C Foore's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Foore of Dudley. His wife, the former Dottie Lee Brumbaugh, is living with her parents in Saxton while her husband is in the service". "Rev. David Bretz Rinehart, a member of the Central Ohio Conference, died at his home at Anna, Shelby Co., Ohio, Feb. 27, 1900. He was born in Fairfield County, Ohio, Nov. 21, 1825, and at his death was seventy-four years of age.

"At the age of five years his parents moved to Shelby Co., Ohio. At the age of eleven years his mother died, and he made his home with his grandfather one year, and then returned to Fairfield Co., Ohio, to make his home with his uncle. In 1841 he retuned to Shelby Co., Ohio and for two years taught school.

"In his nineteenth year he went to Dayton, Ohio and learned the baker's trade, after which he returned to the county of his nativity and engaged in the grocery and bakery business in Lithopolis.

"In his twenty-second year he was married to Miss Julia Bacher, of Lithopolis Ohio. His wife died July 27, 1850, and left him with two little girls, Martha and Bell.

"His second marriage was to Miss Catharine Eatherington. To them three children were born, one son and two daughters. He moved to Sidney, Ohio, in 1851 and engaged in the grocery and bakery business.

"... Returning from the war he embarked in the mercantile business at Montra, Shelby County, Ohio, where on the 24th of Feb., 1866, Rev. J. A. Wright preacher in charge of the circuit, he was licensed to preach.
