[T9310] NAME: mentioned in father's obituary.

1963 - "Delaware -- a local teenager escaped with only minor injuries when the bicycle he was riding collided with a car driven by a Marion man Sunday at 1:35 p.m. Local patrolmen report that Edward E. Seaton, 35, of 869 Robinson St., started to pass the bicycle ridden by Emory Foor, 13, of Delaware. After the driver sounded his horn, officers say the boy cut in front of the car. The impact threw the boy on top of the hood of the car and he fell to the pavement when the car stopped. Foor was taken to Jane Case hospital and treated for minor injuries. There were no charges filed, patrolmen said. [Marion Star, Marion, Ohio, April 1, 1963]

[T26384] "This week saw the razing of two old landmarks in Lithopolis. One was the old barn which for many years has stood on the lot of property now owned by Mr. Harvey Kinsell. The barn had been built many years ago by Fred Killetts Sr., who was a builder and lived in our village. Strange to tell, when torn down the frame of the building was found to be in good condition and perhaps can be used in rebuilding some other structure.". Originally published 24 Jul 1947, republished in part under title "50 Years Ago Today" in the Canal Winchester Times, 23 Jul 1997.

"...but Frederick Killets soon succeeded him, the saw mill and the wagon
factory, both owned and operated by him being on the same acre of ground with
the house. He was the father of three sons, and I think two girls, although
I am not sure as to the latter. I can only remember the name of one, Sarah.
Of the sons, William was the eldest, who later became the husband of my
sister Irene. Maurice, the second son, was away much of the time and was
never very closely identified with the Village. John, the youngest son,
married a daughter of Martin Bailey, and for a time conducted a hardware
store here, but then removed to Columbus. About 1883-4, Frederick Killets
removed his family to Pennsylvania, his former home". "THE VILLAGE. MEMORIES
