POB: From son Terry via June 2004 email.
""My grandparents all passed away when I was very young, and there is no one I have been able to ask about our family," writes Laurie J. Foor of Norman.
Now that she has a son, Foor has begun to explore her heritage for him, starting with her mother's Davison line. Foor's grandparents were Walter and Mary Jeanette (O'Connor) Davison.
Walter's parents, first names unknown, made the Run of 1889 and had three other sons Carl, Frank and John. Various family members settled in or around Guthrie, Geary and Hinton.
Foor believes some of these relatives still are in Oklahoma." [The Oklahoman, July 23, 1988]

Here he is conducting the same line of work and is today the owner of a valuable tract of land in Bloom township, being accounted one of the most successful and progressive farmers of the community. He has also been identified with banking interests. He was one of the organizers of the Citizens National Bank at Martinsburg, West Virginia, and served as one of its directors until 1895.
"On the 10th of October, 1876, Mr. Ropp was joined in wedlock to Miss Eliza Jane Anderson, a daughter of David and Mary (Speck) Anderson, whose parents came to this conty from the north of Ireland or Scotland and located at Welsh Run, PA. In early life her father followed the wagon maker's trade. After his marriage he removed to Clear Spring, MD., adn in 1857 became a resident of Berkely Co., WV., where he engaged in farming, but his last days were spent near Hedgesville, that state, where he died Feb. 11, 1892, at the age of 82 years. His wife survived him and passed away Feb. 1, 1901, at the advanced age of 90 years.
