OBIT: The End of Life's Journey. Daniel Halderman Laid To Rest At Forest Rose. The funeral services of Daniel Halderman were held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Geo. C. Boerstler 119 Arnold Avenue Monday afternoon. Rev. N. E. Butler delivered the funeral service taking for the subject of his adress "A good man". The pall bearers were Geo. and Boyd Halderman sons of the deceased and four grandsons, Harold, Roderick and Max Halderman and Boyd C. Boerstler. The following out of town parties were in Lancaster to attend the funeral: Boyd Halderman and family of Wooster, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Harris and family of Utica, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Hannaway of Columbus. The Knights of Pythias held the lodge funeral rites on Sunday evening at the home. Burial was made at Forest Rose cemetery beside the wife who proceeded him to the spirit land years ago. It was the pleasure of the writer of this article to know Mr. Halderman for many years. He was a man who stood four square with his fellow men and the world was a better place for his having passed through it. The massed profusion of flowers that banked his casket bore silent testimony to the esteem in which this good man was held.

Card of thanks... We wish to thank friends and neighbors for their help and sympathy, those who sent the floral offerings, those who furnished machines, Dr. Butler and the city employes. Also J. V. Halteman for his services at the death of Daniel Halderman. [signed] Geo. Halderman, Boyd C. Halderman, Mrs. Geo. F. Riegel, Mrs. Geo. C. Boerstler.
