NAME: "The Foor Family", George S. Conover, ca 1964, p 4.
DOB/DOD: From Dinah Young, 6490 Fenestra Court, Burke, VA 22015 (Feb 1998) She further states that James was the s/o Daniel and Sarah DODSON, and that the oldest child Harry was not James Dodson's son. "My great-aunt told me this and then in the 1880 there is no Harry living with James and Elizabeth. However, there is a 5 year old Harry FOOR living with his grandfather Peter FOOR. The oldest daughter is listed as Clara. This was a nickname. Most people knew her by this name, even her obituary said her name was Clara. However, her tombstone says Flora Bell. DOB/DOD/POBurial: "Cemeteries of Bloom Twp., Fairfield Co., OH", Fairfield County Gen. Soc., Chapter OGS, 1996, p 315. Name listed as Jacob Shride. Full dates. Buried first addition, lot 148 grave 3.
NOTE: This family is very confusing. In 1850 Jacob is 52 and appears to be widowed. In 1850 in a township just north of him is Elizabeth Shride 30y born in Ireland, also appears to be widowed and having a couple children. In 1860 these two families seem to merge, and Jacob's age should be 62 rather than 42, so I had assumed it to be a son named Jacob. I can't find a Jacob born about 1818 in the 1850 census, though.

Perhaps it was a husband she married in between WAGNER and SPANGLER.

Soon after their marriage they moved to the growing Swander settlement in Shelby county, where they lived seven years.
