Born Dec. 12, 1917 in Gladwin, she was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County.
Edna married Wendell Foor, Feb. 6, 1940 in Gladwin. He preceded her in death April 29, 1999. She was a farmer.
Surviving are four daughters, Karolyn and husband Harry Martin of Marion, Barbara and husband William Doty and Sue and husband James Westfall, all of Gladwin, and Sandra and husband Philip Smith of Richmond, Va.; one son, Ed of Gladwin; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, four brothers, and her parents.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Gladwin, with Rev. Timothy Verity officiating.

BALTIMORE: Martha Boyer Walker Lindig, age 93 of Baltimore, formerly of Grove City, passed away Monday September 12, 2011 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. Martha was a 1937 graduate of Carroll High School, a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Lithopolis and a retired employee of International Harvester.
She is survived by her nephew Edward A. (Donita) Boyer, Carroll, Ohio and great nieces and nephews.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband Paul H. Lindig and a brother Arnold A. Boyer.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home, Lancaster with Pastor Ronald L. Murdock officiating. Burial will be at Betzer Cemetery, Carroll. Friends may call Wednesday 5-7:30 P.M. and 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to FairHoPe Hospice in Martha's memory.

OBIT: Franklin Pierce FOOR, 84, died Monday evening in his home two and one-half miles northeast of Macy exactly two weeks after the death of his wife, Mrs. Mary Catherine Foor. Mr. Foor had been ill one week.
A native of Fulton county, he was born March 1, 1863, in the house in which he died. He was the son of Stephen and Hannah Runkle Foor. Mr. Foor married Mary Catherine Dowds April 20, 1881, in Peru. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include three sons, S. Verl, Samuel S., and Orville C., all of Macy; one brother, Lewis Foor, Mentone; a sister, Mrs. Myrta Glendenning, Lakeland, FL; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2pm Thursday in the Ditmire Chapel in Fulton with the Rev. William Shewman officiating. Burial will be in Plainview cemetery in Macy. Mrs. Catherine McCARTER, aged 85, one of the pioneer women of Fulton county died at her home 330 West Seventh Street at 6:20 p.m. Friday. Death was due to injuries which she received in a fall three weeks ago in which she fractured a hip.
Mrs. McCarter was born in Fairfield County, Ohio on March 4, 1849 and came to this county with her parents, David and Margaret HAIMBAUGH, when she was twelve years of age.
The deceased was married to William R. McCARTER in a ceremony which was performed in this city on December 8, 1867. Mr. and Mrs. McCarter lived on a farm three miles northeast of Rochester on the Talma road for many years.
Mrs. McCarter following the death of her husband continued to reside on the farm until 10 years ago when she moved to this city. She was a very active member of the Methodist Church and the Women's Relief Corps.
Survivors are a son, Frank R. McCARTER, vice-president of the FIRST NATIONAL BANK of this city, a daughter, Mrs. Harley BARKMAN of this city, a sister Mrs. Arthur LYNCH, of Chicago and five grandchildren.
The funeral services will be held from the home of Mrs. McCarter at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon. Rev. T. L. STOVALL will be in charge. Burial will be made in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Friends may view Mrs. McCarter's body at her home between the hours of 2 and 5 Sunday afternoon

Donald J. Wethington, age 74, of Mechanicsburg, PA and formerly of Cincinnati, OH, departed this life on Tuesday evening June 14, 2005 at the Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence, Harrisburg, PA.
Donald was born Jan. 28, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Howard and Marie Hamilton Wethington of St. Bernard, OH.
He was a retired Truck Driver for Eastern Express and Carolina Freight Carriers and a Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He was also a member of the Mechanicsburg Club, the South Mountain VFW Post #6771, Dillsburg and a Life Member of the Dillsburg American Legion, Post 26.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda M. Chamberlain Wethington; his daughters, Judith Grimm of Uniontown, PA, Pamela Hunchuck of Orlando, FL and Joyce Wethington of Delmont, PA; his step-children, Marty Foor and Ben Foor, Jr, both of Everett, PA and Lori Whitesides of Grayson, KY; his sister, Doris Shepardof Warsaw, KY; his 5 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister, Faye Masters and brother, Robert Wethington.
Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be a celebration of his life at the family residence on Sunday, June 26, 2005 from 12-5 p.m. for family and friends to share in memories of Donald.
Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., Dillsburg, PA, is handling the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Central PA, P.O. Box 266, Enola, PA 17025-0266 or New Hope Ministries, Inc., 6 N. 2nd Street, Dillsburg, PA 17019.
