She was born Jan. 31, 1917 in Langdondale, a daughter of the late Leo E. and Lauretta (Kline) Risbon. On Oct. 24, 1936, she married John "Shrimp" Foor Jr., in Romney, WV. Her death ends a marriage of 61 years. In addition to her husband she is survived by four children: Elaine I. Ritchey, Waynesboro; Gary A. Foor married to the former Eleanor Foor, Everett RD 1; Robert D. Foor married to the former Judith A. "Chic" Bloom, Everett; and J. Audrey, wife of Harold W. Smith, Roaring Spring; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She is survived by one brother and two sisters; Gerald Risbon and Grace Hafer, both of Bedford; and Helen Berkebile of Altoona. She was preceded in death by a brother, Albert, and twin sisters Elva Mowery and Leona McGhee. Mrs. Foor was a member of the Everett First United Church of Christ and was a former choir member and member of the service committee of the church. She was a graduate of Huntingdon H.S., class of 1935. She formerly had been employed as secretary for the National Youth Administration in Bedford and later as a clerk for Memorial Hospital of Bedford county. She primarily had been a homemaker.
Funeral services: 11 a.m. Saturday in the Everett First United Church of Christ with Rev. Robert R. Robertson officiating. Burial in Everett Cemetery. [Bedford Gazette, Bedford, PA, 26 Mar 1998]
