NAME: Gedcom submitted by Shirley Bogart Harper, 4873 Butternut Hollow Lane, Bonita, CA; date unk. (pre-2003). Gedcom at Latter-Day Saints site at www.familysearch.org.
1824 - Indenture made October 5, 1824. William Bogart binds out his daughter Mary Ann Bogart age 10y 9m 18d to Abraham V. Courtright to learn housewifery til 18 years which will happen on Dec. 17, 1831. "Indentures of Fairfield Co., Ohio, 1824-1880", Fairfield County, Ohio, Chapter OGS, 1994, p 2.
1824 - he binds out his daughter Minerva Bogart on same date. She is then 4y. See notes on Minerva.

", Charlotte, 16y b NY, attended school
NOTE: There are two old 2001 gedcom's submitted to ancestry.com on this William BOGART. Same person uploaded them and it's titled "Ward Genealogy" by Janine Cardis. There are many discrepencies between this Ward info and others posted. Cardis shows that William Bogart was born 07 Nov 1785 in Read Co., NJ and died Jan. 1, 1858 in Putnam Co., OH., and that the above is this William in the 1850 census. She has the same birthdates for Minerva Bogart and Mary Ann Bogart... William's daughters... that I have, but makes absolutely no mention anywhere that this family was at one time in Fairfield Co., Ohio. In 1824 William Bogart indentured out at least two daughters, Minerva and Mary Ann.
According to Cardis' records, this William first married Somerset Co., NJ a Margaret Brass in 1805 and had children born in Columbia Co., PA, Columbia Co., OH (typo?), and Shelby Co., Ohio up until 1820. Then he married Henrietta Blanch in 1823 in Shelby Co., Ohio. Did William come all the way to Fairfield Co. to indenture out two daughters? Were the families somehow related? She shows he had one child by Henrietta named Elizabeth who was born in Shelby Co. Then -- and here's some other discrepencies... he supposedly went to PA to marry Mary Dildine in 1827, then turned around and had tow children in 1828 and 1833 in Ohio, supposedly the latter one in Putnam Co., Oh.
This data seems very... 'messy'. The Mary Ann I have record of, she shows she died in 1830, yet married someone in 1838, eight years after she died.

LOCATION: 1950 - Rev. Coy Foor, supply pastor of the Breezewood Church of the Brethren, and his wife were forced to flee from their home early Monday morning when it was destroyed by fire. Rev. Foor told American Red Cross officials in Bedford that the furnace blew up and set fire to his home before he could get his clothes on, forcing him to escape in scanty attire. His wife, who has been bedfast for 8 weeks, was removed from the burning home by neighbors. The blast set fire to the home so quickly that nothing could be saved. It was learned that Rev. Foor recently had rented the home. Rev. Foor and his wife are being cared for by a daughter and the Bedford County chapter of the Red Cross is providing them with food and clothing and aiding in procuring a new home. [Bedford Gazette, Bedford, PA, Feb. 3, 1950]
LOCATION: 1950 - Fire Razes Foor Home at Breezewood - Fire destroyed the home of Rev. and Mrs. Coy Foor near Breezewood Monday morning, January 30, the couple barely escaping with their lives. Mrs. Foor, who has been ill for the past 15 months, was carried from the burning building by her husband. The fire resulted when a large 5-room oil heater exploded. When Rev. Foor, who was awakened by the explosion and fumes, opened the bedroom door to investigate, the smoke came rolling in and within a few seconds the entire building seemed to burst into flames. Seeing that he had no time to dress, he wrapped his wife in a blanket and carried her to safety. Mrs. Foor has been bedridden most of the time during her illness. According to Rev. Foor the flames fed by the fuel spread by the exploding heater seemed to burst out all over the building. Had he and Mrs. Foor delayed two minutes longer in leaving the house they would not have been able to make their way to safety. Later, Rev. and Mrs. Foor were taken to the home of their daughter, Mrs. Cloyd Foor, where they will reside until they can make arrangements for another home. The house in which the Foors resided was owned by Garret Burns. Both Mr. Burns' loss and that of Rev. and Mrs. Foor was partially covered by insurance. The Breezewood Fire company responded promptly to the alarm. However, the flames spread so rapidly the firemen could do little to save the structure. [Bedford Gazette, Bedford, PA, Feb. 10, 1950]

These hobbies and background information I found on his Perdue home page
Background Information:
I was born on February 19,1979 in Mountain Home, Idaho. I have lived in Hammond, Indiana since 1981. I attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help grade school and Gavit high school. Currently, I am enrolled at Purdue Calumet, working on a degree in education. I work at Hartsfield Village, a senior independant living home, as a waiter.
Hobbies and Interests:
First, I must declare my passionate love for the Chicago Cubs. I bleed Cub blue. Sports are my most time comsuming hobby. Even though I attend a Purdue branch, I am a die hard Indiana University fan. I also enjoy attempting to ice skate even though little children fly by me. I have been known to knock the children down if they taunt me. Another hobbie which I enjoy is fishing. My father taught me to fish when I was a small lad, and it has become a passion that we both share. I like all kinds of food as long as it is prepared for me. Music wise, I enjoy a variety of styles of music with country being my favorite. George Strait is awesome, enough said. My favorite movie is Braveheart followed closely by Unforgiven, and Shawshank Redemption.

According to Kentucky Vital Records online divorce index, this couple was married in the year 1990 and divorced in 1992. Names listed were Donald J. Foor and Kristin E. Poor. Divorced in Fayette Co., KY.
NAME: From daughter Brittany's birth record. [Kentucky Births 1911-2001, Vitalsearch Company Worldwide, Inc., online public database, June 2002]
Joseph Foor's obituary was posted online, and a temporary guestbook was listed. Kristy Courtney of Lexington, KY; "DonJoe, my first true love of my life. I will always think back with great fondness and joy when we were teens. A brief marriage ensued and although our paths led us separate ways we always shared a most precious bond - Brittany. The greatest gift you ever gave to me was our daughter Brittany. It comforts me to know that you are truly at peace." Daughter Brittany also signed guestbook.
Someone posted a very small family tree at "Tribal Pages" and it shows this person's name as Kristin Elizabeth COURTNEY born in Hollywood, FL., but it also shows she married someone by the name of Leslie Courtney. I would assume that this is erroneous information. It also shows she had a child named Chase Alexander Courtney born in Lexington, KY.

E.T. Jennings
Waveland Independent
Friday July 14, 1899
E.T. Jennings, the shoemaker, suffered a stroke of apoplexy Tuesday morning and has been in a semi-conscious condition ever since. His death is expected to occur at any time. He revived just long enough Wednesday to send for a lawyer to draw up his will. He is 76 years of age. [Posted to the county GenWeb website; Montgomery co., IN]
Edward Jennings of near Bowers Station stood in the Mayor's court this week stolidly looking over his gold-timmed spectacles at the exponent of the law who sat at the desk. He is an old man, with white hair and long gray whiskers and resembling a substantial farmer. "Mr. Jennings, you are charged with intoxication in a public place.'
"Well, I reckon I did have a little too much," was the response, "but this is the first time I was ever took up. I feel might bad over it, too, as I never calculate to do any harm. I reckon I did have too much but I'll never do it again," and the poor old man mopped his forehead with nervous haste. He was fined $11.30 and although he had over $20 on his person he had his fine stayed as he had to expend his ready money on other things. He came in to get his pension money and meeting with some of the boys they drank from the same canteen a few times too often. [Posted to the county GenWeb website]
The obit says he married his wife in St. Clair, Oh. Saint Clair is in both Muskinghum and Butler counties and no record of marriage was found there. However, there's a St. Clairsville, Ohio, which is in Belmont county, and that's where I found a record of their marriage.
Waveland Independent, Oct. 13, 1899
Edward T. Jennings died at his home on Green St. about 6 o'clock Tuesday morning. About two months ago he suffered a stroke of paralysis and a second one about two weeks ago, from which he never rallied. He was born in 1823. In 1841 he married Mary Firman at St. Clair, Ohio who died some years ago. In 1893 he moved to Waveland with his daughter. Mr. Jennings served with credit during the war of the Rebellion, and was a good citizen, honest in all his dealings.
The body was taken to Darlington on Wednesday, where funeral services were held. A short service was held at the family residence Wed. morning, conducted by Rev. JJ Canine.
Reported Deaths: JENNINGS, Edward/Edwin, age 76, October 10, 1899. [GenWeb website]

COMMEMRATIVE HISTORICAL AND BIOGRAPHICAL RECORD OF WOOD COUNTY, OHIO; ITS PAST AND PRESENT, CHICAGO: J. H. BEERS & CO., 1897, pp 1164-1165.
LEWIS CRAMER, a wealthy citizen of Bowling Green, and now retired from active life, was born April 6, 1830, in Fairfield county, Ohio, a son of Jacob and Louisa (Moore) Cramer.
The great-grandfather of our subject, on the paternal side, was born in Germany, and, when ten years old, came to America with his parents. They located in Pennsylvania, in what was then known as Penn's Valley. He was a farmer by occupation, and a soldier and pension, of the Revolutionary army. Lewis Cramer, the grandfather of our subject, was a resident of Fairfield county, Ohio, where he died when nearly seventy years of age. In the early part of his life he was a farmer, and a minister in the United Brethren Church, afterward, in that county, operating a flouring-mill and sawmill, by water-power, on Walnut creek. He was one of a large family of children, the following being the names of some of them: Lewis, Philip, John, Michael, Adam, Jacob, George, and Sarah. Lewis became the father of eight children, namely: Jacob, George,' Adam, Lewis, Sarah, Margaret, Mary and Christina.
Jacob Cramer, the father of our subject, was born in Pennsylvania, in 1808, was married in Fairfield county, Ohio, to Louisa Moore, who died in Fairfield county, in 1836, at the age of thirty-three. They followed farming for many years. Jacob was three times married, having five children by his first wife, namely: Levi, who died in Wood county, when sixty-one years old; Susan, married to Daniel Knepper, of Fairfield county, and died when about twenty years of age; our subject; Irvin, who enlisted from Fairfield county, in the regular army, during the Civil war, and died in-Libby prison; and Louisa, marrieed to Henry Knepper, and now residing near Carey, Wyandot county. Mr. Cramer's second marriage was to Miss. Sarah Derr, and of this union three children were born: William, who died when seven years old; Margaret, who is married, and residing in Lancaster, Ohio; Sarah, married, and living near Warsaw, Ind. Jacob Cramer's third wife Was Mrs. Annie Moore (widow or George Moore), by whom he had no children. Mr. Cramer died in Ohio, about the year 1873. Mrs. Louisa (Moore) Cramer, mother of our subject, was a daughter of Levi and Mary (Bright) Moore, natives of Delaware, and who were among the first settlers of Fairfield county, where they followed farming. They were the parents of several children, named respectively: John, Louisa, Edward, Abigail, George, Elizabeth, Sarah, Levi, and Erwin. The father was very highly respected citizen, and a leader among men. Both parents died on the farm they had settled on.
The subject of this sketch grew to manhood in Fairfield county, remaining on the home farm with his father until he was some twenty-two years old, when he moved to Hancock county, on to a new farm, whereon he lived twenty-one years, and then came to Wood county. At the age of twenty-three he married Miss Martha Carnes, who, died in l852, and December 13, 1855, for his second wife, he wedded Miss Jennie Black. In 1876 he purchased land in what was then the suburbs of Bowling Green, but which is now a part of the city, and has an elegant and comfortable home. He has spent a busy life, dealing in real-estate, flour-milling and loaning his money; but is now taking his ease and comfort, his chief occupation being to look after his property, and his interest in the Union Flouring Mills of the city, of which he is one of the proprietors. Mr. Cramer .cast his first Presidential vote for James K. Polk, his last Democratic vote going for James Buchanan, and for many years past has exerted his influence in behalf of the Republican party. He is a member of the United Brethren Church, liberal in his contributions to all worthy causes, and is highly regarded as one of the valuable citizens of Bowling Green. Mrs. Cramer was born in Fairfield county, in 1838, and is a daughter of Lemuel and Sarah (Bogart) Black, the former of whom was born in Fairfield county, the latter near Reading, Penn. Mr. Black was a wheelwright and chairmaker by trade, and when died about sixty-five years old, a member of the United Brethren Church; his wife died in June, 1894, aged eighty-two years. Lemuel Black was the son of John Black, who was of Scottish descent, and whose family comprised six children: Lemuel, Ira, John, Millie, Susan, and Catherine. Mrs. Cramer was the eldest of seven children, the others being Maggie and Martin, both deceased; William, living at Findlay, Ohio; Elroy, living in Smithton, Mo. ; Elmer and Cloe K., living in Hancock county. Mrs. Cramer died suddenly at Bowling Green, mourned by many friends by whom she was beloved, and held in the higheSt respect for her many virtues, her amiability, and her sweet disposition.

LOCATION: fall of 1861 they went to Shelby Co.,IL for one year, then migrating to first Stanton Twp. of Champaign Co.,IL, and by 1881 to St. Joseph Township. From "Portrait and Biographical Album of Champaign County, Illinois," 1887, submitted by Celia Snyder to USGENWEB Archives.
"Portrait and Biographical Album of Champaign County, Illinois," 1887
ELIAS RUSSELL first drew breath among the hills of Delaware County, Ohio,
to which State his father had removed from his native State of Virginia
with his parents when a boy. The grandfather of our subject, John RUSSELL
by name, was born in the Old Dominion, being the offspring of a family, who
traced their ancestry from England, and whose first representatives in this
country located in Virginia in the Colonial days. They were
agriculturists, and became noted for their thrift and prosperity.
John Russell married early in life and became the father of a fine family
of sons and daughters. Among these was Joseph A., who was born in
Virginia, and when a boy removed with his parents to Ohio, where he grew to
manhood, married Miss Jemima C. ECKHART, and became the father of Elias, of
our sketch.
Our subject spent his early years in Fairfield County, Ohio, passing his
winters in attendance at the district schools, and assisting in the labors
of the farm until his marriage. This event took place when he was in his
twenty-third year, in September, 1860, his chosen bride being Miss Nancy
M., daughter of Thomas and Effie (DRAKE) WHITZEL, of Fairfield County,
Ohio. In the fall of 1861 Mr. and Mrs. Russell came into Shelby County,
Ill., where they took up their residence for a year. They were not quite
satisfied with that locality and migrated into Champaign County, locating
first in Stanton Township. Here our subject engaged in farming and
stock-raising and cultivated annually a large area of corn and wheat.
Finally, in 1881, he secured possession of eighty acres of land on section
10, in St. Joseph Township, where he permanently located and which has
since been his home. He has been willing to labor for the good things of
life, and his industry has been amply rewarded. Himself and family are
enjoying all the comforts which could be reasonably wished for, and possess
in a marked degree the esteem and respect of their neighbors.
Mr. and Mrs. Russell have become the parents of two children only-Frank S.,
and an infant who died unnamed. Mr. R. since coming to this township has
served as School trustee and Treasurer, Commissioner of Highways, and in
other positions where he has been of decided assistance in local matters.
He is esteemed as a man of excellent judgment, and his honesty has never
been questioned. Since becoming a voter he has upheld the principles of
the Republican party.

E. Church at two o'clock standard time and burial will take place in the Bloom township cemetery. [Lancaster Daily Eagle, Lancaster, Ohio, June 13, 1917]
OBIT: William Albert Williamson, son of George W. and Elizabeth Kemp Williamson, was born March 7, 1846 near Royalton, Fairfield County, Ohio. He was the youngest of a family of 9 children. He is survived by one brother, Henry C. of Lancaster. With the Christianity in the home and the consecrated lives that he was brought in contact with he was converted to Christianity in his youth, received the Holy ordinance of baptism and joined the Methodist Episcopal Church at Wesley Chapel. For a period of fifty years he was a faithful worker in the church and served as a member of the official board for forty years. His direct work in the church continued as long as he was able to attend public service and his influence will still continue to lift the church to hight planes of thought and Christian service. May 21st, 1878, he was united in marriage to Rosannah Disinger, daughter of Peter and Margaret Disinger. To this union four children were born, Lottie Heister, wife of Elmer Heister; Park Willis and Nellie Leora at home, and Berti Otis of Columbus, Ohio, all of whom are still living. Of six grandchildren, five are still living: one, Ellsworth Williamson Heister, died October 4th, 1905.
"May 1st, 1874, he was raised to the sublime Degree of a Master Mason in Lithopolis Lodge No. 169 F & A. M. He was created a life member and enrolled as a Veteran Brother of the Lodge January 20th, 1905. In the midst of long years of constant suffering and months of physical depression, he exemplified the sustaining strength and victorious faith of the religion he experienced and taught by the life he lived. Afer some days of extreme weakness he quietly took his departure and joined the innumerable throng, Tuesday, June 12th, 1917, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Heister. Having journeyed this world 71 years 2? months and 3? 5? days. As we stand in the Holy twilight of the receding lives that have gone down below the horizon of our human sight let us be glad that they have only circled on in their immortal orbits to a higher world, which is the land of the morning and the home of the crown. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. M. V. B. Stump, under the auspices of F. & A. M. in the Methodist Episcopal Church at Wesley Chapel, Thursday afternoon, June 14th, 1917. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. [Lancaster Daily Eagle, Lancaster, Ohio, Jun 19, 1917]
