1926 - see notes on son Thomas Dwight. He was married and filed for divorce. Being a minor, his mother was the 'next friend' when he filed in court.
1930 - some time between 1926 and 1930 Dora must've married a Moore. At the time I found this census, I figured she must've died prior to her husband's death in 1927, and the husband remarried this person named "Roberta". Why she is shown in the 1930 census as "Roberta" when she's always been shown as Dora is a mystery. I still didn't think this was her because her age is incorrect as she'd supposedly only be about 38 in 1930. HOWEVER, in her son Thomas Dwight's 1959 obituary it lists his surviving mother "Mrs. Ethel Moore" of Lancaster.

marry a SHAFER, and this is actually her child? An illegitimate child of Mary's or Alma's by a man named Shafer?
