PUGH John Wesley Pugh, age 42, of Lancaster went to be with the Lord on July 18, 2006 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. Born October 19, 1963 in Columbus to William C. and Barbara M. (Perry) Pugh, of Carroll, Ohio. He was a graduate of Bloom Carroll High School and attended Greencastle Bible Church. Preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Owen Floyd Perry and paternal grandparents William Clifford and Nellie Pugh. He is survived by children Brandon Wesley Pugh, Columbus, Aleece Pugh, Trisha Pugh, Teri Pugh and Sarah Pugh all of Muncie, Indiana; brother William O. (Theresa) Pugh, Pickerington; sister Teri (Shawn) Lent, Carroll; grandmother Lucille Macomber, Wilkesville, Ohio; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. "George Seymour, who was one of the early settlers of Madison Twp. [Franklin Co., OH] came from Hampshire county, VA, in about 1818 or 1820, the date not being exactly known. Immediately after his arrival, he bought the fourt quarter of section 23, and soon afterwards added to them the second and third quarters of section 26. His son, Moses, inherited number 2, and Jesse, number three in section 26; William had number 4 in section 27, John had the quarter east of Jesse's, where he died, leaving a widow and three children, one of whom married Andrew Wilson, and now lives on the place. Moses raised 8 children, several of whom have died since arriving at maturity. Two live in Groveport. William married, and raised 7 children. His widow and three children live on the home farm; the others in the township. Jesse raised 8 children, of whom one son, Miner, lives on the home farm, and two others live near by."
