OBIT: Call Sudden to Mrs. Anders. Philo, Ill. Mrs. Elijah Anders, living five miles south of here, fell dead from apoplexy on Christmas day. Funeral services were held today from the M. E. church, followed by interment in Locust Grove cem. Mrs. Anders, who was fifty years old, is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. Carl Mumm of Kansas, Harvey of Sidney, Mrs. John Bleichmier of Philo, Antone and Mrs. Howard Eaton of Rantoul? and Nellie, Samuel and Martha at home. Gerald M. ''Jerry'' Anderson, age 64, of Canal Winchester, died Sunday January 6, 2002 in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was born July 20, 1937 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Garrett and Ann (nee Evans) Anderson. He received both his Bachelors and Masters degrees from the Ohio State University.
He was retired from the federal government, Department of Air Force, Newark Air Force Base, since 1996. He was currently employed by Boeing, where he was manager of technical services. He was a 32 year member of St. John Lutheran Church in Lithopolis, where he was serving as a deacon. Jerry was an avid cyclist, and loved fishing and boating.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years Betty, son and daughter-in-law Dr. Geoffrey and Anita Anderson, Lancaster, daughter Kathleen Anderson, Gahanna, grandchildren Meredith, Christina and Garrett Anderson, cousins Judy and Jim Bush, Columbus, Carrol Griffiths, Warren, Bob and Yvonne Brock, uncle Meredith Brock, Florida.
Friends may visit 6-8 p.m. Thursday January 10 and 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday January 11 at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. John Lutheran Church, 133 W. South St., Lithopolis with Pastor David Drewes officiating. Entombment will be at the Lithopolis Cemetery Mausoleum.

Depression. [I have only seen this person's name listed as "Clinton" or "Clinton B.", though in the 1900 and 1910 census's, there's a BREMMER listed that I am assuming at this time to be him. Never have I seen the name "George" yet.

Nola Marcelle (Mickey) Solt, 85, of Carroll, passed away Monday, April 30, 2007, in the Muskingum Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Beverly.
She was born on May 20, 1921, in Morgan County, Ky., the daughter of the late Elie and Flora Belle (Osborne) McGuire.
She was married to Thomas (Tom) Monroe Solt Jr. on Aug. 8, 1944. She taught in the Carroll, now Bloom-Carroll, School District for 11 years in the fifth grade, after which she became a professional Girl Scout.
She was an active 4-H leader, Girl Scout leader, member of the Carroll Garden Club and Lyons Club Auxiliary.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 54 years, Tom.
Nola is survived by her four siblings, Mary Lou Ratliff of Lexington, Ky., Katy Denniston of Salt Lick, Ky., Ronald (Geneva) McGuire of Louisville, Ky. and James Ray (Loretta) McGuire of Franklin.
She was loved and will be missed by their three children, Patsy (Barry) Stollar of Waterford, Jack (Linda) Solt of McArthur, and Philip Solt of Lancaster.
She is also survived by their grandchildren, Wendy (Roger) Stebleton of Carroll, Andrew (Allie) Solt of Lancaster, Jennifer (Ryan) Bugg of Hilliard, Ken Farley of Carroll, Jon Farley of Columbus, Troy and Clint Stollar, both of Chillicothe, Angel Solt of Lancaster, Tana and Donald Solt of Kansas City, Mo.; and several great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Halteman-Fett and Dyer Funeral Home, 436 N. Broad St., Lancaster, 43130.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard Carson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Betzer Cemetery.

OBIT: Donald R. Wilkins, 48, Rt. 2, Carroll [Fairfield Co., Ohio] died Thursday at 10:25 p.m. in Lancaster-Fairfield County Hospital following a long illness. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Ethel Wilkins, Rt. 2, Carroll; four sisters, Mrs. Chester Arter, Rt. 4 Lancaster, Mrs. Kenneth Gilmer and Mrs. Joe Fisher, both of Baltimore [Ohio], Mrs. Jim Farley, Columbus; nieces and nephews. Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Weaver Funeral Home, Baltimore, with Rev. Fred Bloede officiating; burial in Betzer Cemetery at Carroll. Friends may call at Weaver's after 2 p.m. today.
